Did you know chronic neck pain can actually change how your brain handles pain? 🧠😣

A new study found that long-lasting neck pain can lead to subtle changes in the brain areas that send and receive pain signals, which may make pain feel stronger or persist longer.

But here’s the good news:
Your brain can change in positive ways, too. 💪 Gentle movement, exercise, and hands-on care can help calm the nervous system and reduce pain over time.

If your neck pain has been lingering, we’re here to help! Give our office a call, and we’ll get you on our schedule!

If your New Year's resolution is to get healthier, start with better sleep. 🛌✨

A study of 2,400 U.S. adults found that sleeping less than 7 hours per night nearly doubles the risk of being overweight or obese. Even excessive sleep (over 9 hours) can increase the risk, so maintaining a balance is key. ⚖️

Before overhauling your diet or workouts, remember:
🕓 Sleep 7–9 hours
🍎 Eat well
🏃‍♀️ Move often
💆‍♂️ Recover fully

Your 2026 resolutions start with rest! Check out this infographic for more information on healthy sleep habits. https://bit.ly/3zTXvVS

Winter is here, which means snow shoveling season has arrived for those living in or visiting Northern regions! ❄️

Shoveling can be tough on your muscles and joints, especially if you rush or lift improperly.

Protect yourself with these tips:
✅ Warm up your muscles before shoveling
✅ Use an ergonomic, lightweight shovel
✅ Lift with your legs, not your back

Small changes can make a big difference. Check out our infographic for more tips on how to shovel safely this season! 🙌 https://bit.ly/40VVzfJ

What you eat might be just as important as how you move. 🥗💪

A new study found that adults who improved their diet over just 3 months experienced:
✅ Less chronic musculoskeletal pain
✅ Better pain-related quality of life
✅ Lower pain severity

Even after weight loss, pain relief is linked directly to better diet quality, not just the pounds lost.

One of our favorite diets, the Mediterranean Diet, is highly ranked for its anti-inflammatory benefits. Check out this infographic to see how simple food choices can help your body heal! https://bit.ly/3nymUkA

New moms, if your back hurts after a C-section, you’re not alone. 🤱💛

A recent study found that women who delivered by cesarean often have more back pain and weaker core muscles. However, it’s not just about strength; other factors also play a role. ⚡

That’s why postpartum rehab goes beyond sit-ups. Our clinic offers evidence-based care to help you recover safely, rebuild strength, and feel like yourself again. ✨

With winter break approaching, it may be time for a backpack check! 🎒❄️

Backpacks can fill up fast with books, laptops, and gear, adding extra strain on the spine.

Keep backpack weight below 10% of body weight to protect your spine.

A quick check today can prevent pain tomorrow. Check out this infographic for more helpful tips! https://bit.ly/3WRrgEs

New research found that people with low back pain who also had digestive issues (like bloating or indigestion) recovered more slowly and experienced more pain.

This suggests that gut health can influence back pain recovery; they’re more connected than you might think. 🌿

At our clinic, we focus on treating the whole person, not just the pain point. 💪

If your gut’s unhappy, your back might be too. Let’s get you feeling better. Book your appointment today to start healing from the inside out ✨
