Being tired all the time is not normal.
It might be common. Definitely doesn't mean it’s healthy.
We’ve normalized waking up exhausted. Needing caffeine to function. Needing sugar to think. Needing alcohol to shut off. Needing the weekend just to recover from the week.
That isn’t a “busy life.” That speaks of a nervous system stuck in survival mode. When your system is constantly dealing with stress, noise, inflammation, emotional load, poor sleep rhythms, and unresolved tension, your energy gets used for vigilance instead of healing, digestion, hormone balance, and brain clarity.
You can sleep 8 or 9 hours and still wake up wrecked if your nervous system never actually shifted out of high alert.
Fatigue is not a sleep problem. It’s a regulation problem. More coffee won’t fix it. More naps won’t fix it. More supplements won’t fix it.
