In His Image International (iHi International), was founded in late 2014 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation in Pennsylvania. Bringing the world together to help vulnerable international people (VIPs)
Mission: IHI identifies, supports, and develops solutions to improve the lives of vulnerable people worldwide through meaningful connections, capacity building and aide. IHI International strives to provide opportunities, support, and develop meaningful connections worldwide to assist vulnerable people; especially those living with disability, further exacerbated by already difficult conditions. The primary focus is to “meet people where they are” around the globe, and provide meaningful solutions to improve their lives, and more importantly, develop short and long term connections to maintain ongoing support and equipping. The major goal is empowerment, to create sustainable situations and personal ownership. Vulnerable populations include (but are not limited to) those who have unique needs such as those diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities (regardless of origin), autism spectrum disorders, behavior disorders, physical disabilities, visual and hearing impairments, multiple disabilities (including medically fragile), and those who are orphaned, live in poverty and/or war torn regions, have been victims of crime, suffer for mental health needs, or have been abused or otherwise mistreated creating compounding impacts of difficult life circumstances.
