We are thrilled to announce the Grand Re-Opening of our Avon location! Dr. Andrea Bates, AuD is joining our team and will have scheduled appointment times on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

We are in the same great location - 30 W Avon Road - just with a new provider and expanded hours to serve you!

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Andrea Bates, AuD will be joining our team in a few weeks! She will be the primary audiologist in our Avon location and you can schedule a time to see her starting September 9th.

Dr. Bates has been practicing audiology for over 20 years. Her clinical background includes pediatric and adult audiology. She has worked extensively with treating hearing loss by fitting hearing aids and counseling patients to set appropriate expectations. Dr. Bates takes her time to guide patients on how to use hearing aids and how they will improve their interpersonal communication.

Growing up, Dr. Bates’ father and brother were faced with many ear problems and subsequently had hearing loss as a result. Being in a family where hearing was a concern fostered her love for helping those who struggle with their own hearing. Now, Dr. Bates loves fitting new users with hearing aids. She finds it fulfilling providing patients with a better ability to hear and communicate.

Outside of work, Dr. Bates is a busy mom of two young children. When she’s not running them to hockey, swim, or gymnastics, she enjoys staying home with her husband, entertaining friends, and cooking.

Provider Spotlight - Dr. Haille Berger

Dr. Haille Berger earned her B.A. in Health Sciences from Florida Atlantic University and her Doctor of Audiology from Salus University. She has experience working in a variety of settings, including an ENT, pediatric hospital, and private practice.

Dr. Berger has worn hearing aids since she was two years old and received a cochlear implant in her left ear two years ago. As a lifelong hearing aid user, she understands the impact and importance of hearing healthcare. After working as a newborn hearing screener, she was inspired to pursue a career in audiology to support others through their hearing journey. For her it is incredibly rewarding to guide people and show them they are not alone.

Outside of work, Dr. Berger enjoys spending time with her fiancé and family, as well as her two dogs, Oakley and Bugsley. She also enjoys reading, going on walks, and visiting the beach.

It is with great sadness that we share the unexpected passing of Ben Taylor, a beloved member of our team. Ben was a dedicated hearing provider who cared deeply for his patients, and his loss is felt by our entire staff and community.

As we take time to grieve and make arrangements to continue providing quality care, our Avon location will not be seeing patients for the time being. We are actively working to bring in another provider to ensure continuity of care as soon as possible.

We appreciate your understanding and patience during this difficult time. Our thoughts are with Ben’s family, loved ones, and the many patients he served.
