Sometimes we think love looks like flowers, big romantic gestures, and our partner posting us all over their Facebook…

But love is often felt most in the little moments of support and sacrifice.

This past weekend my husband and I did a deep spring cleaning in our house.

The hour before we were having family over I asked my husband if he would mind steam cleaning our sunrooms carpet since our new puppy had an accident in there the day before.

He had just spent four hours outside doing yard work, was anxious to start cooking, looked at me exhausted and said, “baby no I can’t there’s no time.”

I understood and I appreciated his response.

“It’s okay babe, don’t worry about it.”

I said genuinely. I gave him a kiss and then went back inside to finish cleaning the living room floor.

A few minutes later, I heard this weird noise and walked into the dining room to see what it was about.

Sure enough, I see him on the floor, steam cleaning the floor.

He didn’t want to.
He wasn’t forced to.
He was tired and he knew it was okay if he didn’t do it.

But he did it anyways.

I feel so loved everyday by him…
but in this moment— I felt it so deeply.

Big love is felt in small moments. ❤️

Life… sometimes our plans don’t work out because God has something better in store.

✨ Detours in the right direction, as I like to say ✨

In scripture and most world religions, they talk about “long suffering” as a fruit of the spirit. But what does that actually mean? For me, it means HOPE. It means that even in moments where we might be suffering, there will eventually be sunshine after the storm. Long suffering is about maintaining faith in the goodness of life. Long suffering cultivates resiliency in the spirit, where we can feel this whisper of, “keep going.”

In my therapy sessions, you will often hear me talk about this. You’ll hear me inspire you to believe that there is a healed version of you on the other side of whatever hardship or heartbreak you’re going through.

At the end of 2023, I felt my world crumble around me and the life plans I had for myself were shattered…I couldn’t understand why. What was the purpose?? Usually, we don’t know the reason until much later.

Gods plans are always higher than our own.

On 2.2.25, I got to marry the most inspiring, faithful, God-chosen man I have ever met.

And for my woo-woo people out there— our numerology shares this:

“The marriage numerology of this date is ruled by the number 4, which symbolizes stability, commitment, and building a strong foundation together. With the presence of 2s, which symbolize partnership, cooperation, and harmony, this date signifies a divinely guided union where both partners bring balance to each other’s lives.” 🥰 ❤️

I hope this inspires you to never give up in life or in love. The universe has your back!!

You won’t regret being kind… but you will regret being cruel.

Sometimes people do hurtful things and we may never know the reasoning behind it— and even if we do, it still might not be justified. So when we’re face with moments like this it’s important to remember: “when they go low, we go high.”

Being kind, being compassionate, being classy, being genuine, to yourself and to others will always be the right step to take.

Never let your crown fall 👑 ❤️

Tip on Manifesting Your Positive Reality:

I believe my life gets to be beautiful because I choose it to be.

I believe that I get to be beautiful because I choose to see me that way.

I believe we all get this amazing opportunity to connect with the magic of the universe, God, and experience all of His divine creation. I feel blessed. I feel fortunate.

The amount of lives we’re touching, the amount of lives we’re helping, i truly love my life.

Cheers to faith, a smile, and a darn good outfit 😉

While working with couples, Brittney believes deeply in the power of love. However, she also knows that the sentiments of love isn’t enough to keep a relationship afloat. Conflict resolution, deep mutual respect and understanding, forgiveness, vulnerability, and boundaries all take part in making a partnership last. Brittney will often say, “couples are oftentimes too close to the storm, and they just need a guide with a flashlight to help them navigate their way out.” Brittney loves to be that support in helping couples walk out of the storm and into the sunshine of their lives. ❤️
