It has been one year since the Pediatric service was relocated to new premises at Bellevue-La-Montagne Hospital (HBLM).

Today is not a celebration, but a symbolic reminder to highlight the efforts and progress made by the hospital's General Administration, aimed at enabling the population of the Pétionville community to benefit from quality healthcare.

November 17 — World Prematurity Day

Yesterday, the Pediatric Service at Hôpital Bellevue-La-Montagne honors this important day 11/17 by expressing our deep gratitude to every healthcare provider who fights tirelessly to save premature babies, even with the limited resources available.

Every preterm baby we save is a remarkable victory and a reminder of what determination, compassion, and teamwork can achieve.

A special acknowledgment goes to baby Jowensky, who was discharged yesterday—healthy and strong—after more than 45 days of struggle, love, and unwavering care. His story is a symbol of hope for many families.

Let us continue to save lives with determination, love, and patience.

✨ Expanding Specialized Care at Hôpital Bellevue-La-Montagne ✨

Following the successful launch of our urology service, we are also advancing in orthopedic surgery. Recently, our team performed surgery to treat a fractured wrist - another step in strengthening critical services available to the community.

We are deeply grateful to our surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and support staff who continue to make 24/7 healthcare a reality at HBLM. Their dedication ensures that urgent and specialized care can be delivered where it’s needed most.
