Always keep your toothbrush somewhere safe! Did you know that airborne particles from toilet flushing can get onto your toothbrush and then cause bacteria to grow? Well to stop these particles keep your toothbrush away from the toilet. DO NOT put a cap on it. A cap on your toothbrush can actually promote the growth of bacteria and lead to more problems. Rather put it in a clean drawer or keep it far away from the toilet. Always make sure to replace it after 3 months or sooner if needed.

Practicing clean hygiene at home, including the way you store or clean your toothbrush will be incredibly beneficial for you in the long run. So, when you go home tonight, think about where you store your toothbrush and find a better place for it.
