✨ The Moment It All Clicked ✨

Some turning points don’t happen overnight - they build quietly, session by session, family by family.

For Julio Ruiz, owner of in Connecticut, that moment came after nearly 25 years in the field. He began noticing a gap between what happened in therapy sessions and what carried over into real life — and he knew there had to be a better way to support families where learning truly happens.

“I consistently saw that meaningful progress depended on strong relationships, family involvement, and the ability to generalize skills beyond a clinical setting. I wanted to provide services where learning naturally happens — within the home and throughout the community — so skills could truly transfer into everyday life.”

That realization led Julio to create an in-home ABA practice focused on connection, collaboration, and lasting outcomes — not just progress on paper, but progress that families feel in their daily lives.

Moments like this are what practice ownership is all about: listening closely, trusting your instincts, and building something that reflects the care you want to see in the world. 🧡

We want to thank the community for the increased interest in services, especially for ABA. We hear you and we are making every effort to support as many families as we can. The practice is growing with more staff and with that comes training. Arrow Behavioral Associates is committed to providing high quality care but there may be some wait time until we can onboard new clients.

We are still fielding phone calls and checking messages. Everyone’s situation is truly unique and wait time will vary depending upon the level of care you may need.

We are very excited to be an organizational member of the Connecticut Association for Behavior Analysis. We have had a wonderful start to the new year meeting so many new people and growing more with each passing week.

The new year is often associated with new beginnings. In keeping with such traditions, we at Arrow have an exciting new opportunity for families starting this January! Families can now take advantage of customizable IEP Coaching. We are excited to guide families in the right direction, help make the PPT process less overwhelming, and empower families so they may best advocate for their child.

Lots of happenings with Arrow Behavioral Associates! Always still looking for part time RBTs/ BTs.

In-home ABA and private pay consultation will be opening up for the Monroe area. I will be accepting inquiries for the new year.

We are also working with our friends at Finni Health to bring other forms of consultation and service to people . Stay tuned for more on that!
