Meet Caroline đź’š

Caroline brings a grounded, compassionate energy to her work — steady, warm, and deeply attuned. Her approach is relational and trauma-informed with a somatic foundation, helping clients reconnect with their bodies, emotions, and relationships.

She works with individuals and couples navigating intimacy and sexual concerns, self-worth, grief, anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, and big life transitions. Drawing from psychodynamic, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and IFS (parts work), she blends deep insight with practical tools for lasting change.

Her path includes a decade in wellness and entertainment, years of yoga/somatic practice, and clinical training at Maple Counseling — all of which bring an embodied, intuitive presence to the room. She’s committed to her own inner work and ongoing growth.

At Spoken, Caroline offers a gentle steadiness — a space to slow down, feel seen, and move toward what’s most authentic and whole. 🌿

Meet Sarah đź’™

Sarah brings such a grounded presence to her work — calm, thoughtful, and deeply attuned. Her approach is relational and trauma-informed, rooted in curiosity and compassion. She helps clients untangle old patterns, reconnect with themselves, and begin to trust their own inner wisdom again.

She works with individuals and couples navigating self-worth challenges, perfectionism, identity exploration, and the lingering effects of complex or intergenerational trauma. Drawing from psychodynamic, somatic, and IFS (parts work) approaches, Sarah supports clients in finding clarity, regulating overwhelm, and building self-compassion.

Her background as both a therapist and trauma researcher gives her a rare balance — heart and science, insight and intuition. She’s also an adjunct professor at Pepperdine, which fits perfectly — she’s a natural teacher and guide.

At Spoken, Sarah brings a quiet steadiness that’s felt immediately — the kind of presence that makes space for reflection, depth, and real healing. 🌿

Creativity isn’t just about making art. It’s about transforming what you’ve carried into something only YOU can create. 🎨✨

But that truth can feel heavy sometimes. The same sensitivity that fuels your art can also bring anxiety, self-doubt, or the pressure to constantly produce. And in a place like Los Angeles, where creativity is everything, it can feel lonely to hold so much and still be expected to keep going.

I know this path—both from my own creative life and nearly 20 years of sitting with artists, musicians, writers, performers, dreamers. Creativity stirs things up. Old wounds. Rejection. Worth. Burnout. And yet… it’s also one of the greatest forces for healing.

In therapy, we honor that sensitivity as the source of your power. We look at what blocks you—the critic, the stories you’ve carried, the parts that shut down. And together, we make more room for confidence, for healing, for your artistic voice to come through.

I believe creativity is alchemy. Pain into meaning. Fear into courage. Limits into possibility. Your art doesn’t just express who you are. It creates something bigger.

For the artists, dreamers, makers—this work is for you. 💜

Meet Brian 🌿

Brian knows what it’s like to grow up in a therapist’s office — and how powerful (and sometimes imperfect) that experience can be.

Now, as a therapist, Brian brings empathy, creativity, and EMDR to their work, supporting clients through healing and self-discovery. Their approach is queer-affirming, holistic, and grounded in the belief that true growth is possible for everyone.

We’re so grateful to have Brian as part of Spoken LA ✨

I found breathwork in my own therapy — and it changed everything.

I had tried so many things, but nothing ever moved the energy I’d been holding in the same way. What started as an experiment quickly became a lifeline. Breathwork helped me release what was stored, connect with parts of myself I had shut down, and feel more alive in my own skin. It became a daily practice — and eventually something I knew I wanted to share with others.

Now, breathwork is part of what I offer at Spoken LA for those who want to go deeper. Sessions begin simply — lying down, eyes closed, guided by a specific pattern of breathing — but what unfolds can be profound.

Clients often describe feeling lighter, more open, and more connected to themselves. Some release emotions or stories held for years. Some move energy passed down through family lines. Others notice a shift in how old trauma lives in their body. Every session is different — and that’s part of its magic.

Music is at the heart of how I guide. The soundtrack holds you — lifting, softening, opening — while I make sure you feel safe enough to fully drop in. The set and setting matter to me, and I bring as much care to the playlist and environment as I do to guiding your process.

Breathwork isn’t always easy. Sometimes it takes you right up against what you’ve been carrying. But it always moves something — and in that movement, healing and even spiritual connection become possible.

If you’re craving release, clarity, or a deeper connection with yourself, breathwork might be a way in. 🌬️💙

Spoken LA has always been about creating a space where people can feel seen, supported, and understood.

That part hasn’t changed.

What has evolved is how we can walk this path with you. Over the past two years, we’ve expanded the practice - which means:
🌿 More availability, with an incredible team of associates who each bring their own gifts
🌿 More modalities, from therapy to breathwork to (soon) retreats
🌿 More ways to meet you where you are — one-on-one, in groups, and in community

Healing doesn’t look the same for everyone. For some, it’s steadying after loss. For others, it’s unblocking creativity, deepening relationships, or simply finding more ease in being yourself.

Wherever you are, there’s space for you here.

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve posted here, but things at Spoken LA have been anything but quiet.

I’m Elizabeth - therapist, supervisor, breathwork guide, and founder of Spoken LA.

What started as just me in a small office has grown into a new space, new offerings, and an incredible team I can’t wait for you to meet.

This new chapter feels expansive and alive - and I’m excited to share more of it with you here.

✨ If you’re seeing this from my personal page, come follow along at if you’re so inclined - that’s where I’ll be sharing all things therapy, breathwork + retreats. Big love 💜.
