I accepted that because of my genetics that this was just how it was going to be. I continued to eat unhealthy, drink excessively, smoke ci******es and gain more weight. Clothes stopped fitting, and it no longer became necessary to wear belts on ANY of my pants (If I could even get them around my waist.) I COULDN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE.
