This case came out beautifully and I couldn't be happier! A combination of porcelain veneers and crowns to drastically improve this patient's smile and provide a broader, more natural, age-appropriate aesthetic. Notice how the restorations follow the edge of her lower lip, and how effortlessly the patient smiles.

We started this case by doing a gingivectomy (gum recontouring) on 2 teeth to even out the length of the teeth at the highest point.

Once the tissue healed, we took photos and made a waxup or "blueprint" of what the final design of her smile might look like, all based on the patient's facial features. The teeth were then minimally shaped based on the approved waxup design. Temporaries were placed on the patient's teeth, which duplicated the waxup. This allowed us to evaluate and make subtle changes to the final design of the porcelain restorations which really took this case to the finish line! 💯🎯

Full-face before/after of previous post. Patient wanted to close the space between his teeth, repair the discolored and chipped composite filling, and correct angulation. All goals achieved with only 3 porcelain veneers, while maintaining the original shape of his teeth and improving his already pleasant smile! Couldn't be more happy for this patient!
