Meet the Providers
Dr. Sumeet Anand completed her medical residency from Harbor Hospital, University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD. She then worked in a clinical cardiology research position at NYU, NY. Before starting her own practice she enjoyed several years of experience in hospital medicine. Dr. Anand is board certified in Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Anand is a member of medical staff at Good Samaritan Hospital and Northwell Southside Hospital. She has special interest in patient diabetes and obesity. She is comfortable with the ever-changing oral diabetic regimens, diet model and insulin formulations.
Jessica Chappina, MSN, NP-C, ACHPN completed her nurse practitioner training at MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. She is dually certified in adult-geriatric primary care and hospice and palliative care. She has experience working with younger adults and as well as older adults. She has special interest in health promotion and helping patients navigate advanced and chronic disease.
