His High Places

His High Places His High Places is a Biblical Christian Counseling Ministry. Enter Broken, Leave Whole! One week and two week visits are available.

His High Places is a Christian Counseling Ministry operating in the North Carolina High Country for more than 36 years. We minister to Christians who are in various stages of crisis, pain and emotional woundedness. The most common issues we work with are marital problems (including infidelity), sexual sin, depression, grief, spiritual disillusionment, emotional exhaustion and career burnout. Our guests are housed in their own private quarters in a lovely "bed and breakfast" type home where they receive more than 20 hours of intensive one-on-one biblical counseling per week. Sequestered and pulled out of their daily life, our clients are led to discover the deep root causes of their presenting issues. Through a combination of highly effective spiritual diagnostic tools, scripture, prayer and skilled Biblical counseling our guests experience incredible breakthroughs, deep inner healing, and freedom.

🍽️ Friday Dinner Table Question

Who is a person that has influenced your life — and how?

Take a moment tonight to share about someone who helped shape your faith, your character, or your journey. What did they teach you? How did they point you toward truth, love, or resilience?

Gratitude grows when we remember the people God has placed in our lives. 💛

✨ From feeling unseen to fully known and fully loved.

Stories like this remind us why His High Places exists. When someone walks through our doors unsure of what to expect but leaves with hope, joy, and renewed sight for what God is doing in their life — we give Him all the glory.

Healing is possible. Hope is real. And your best days can still be ahead. 🤍

If you’re at a crossroads or longing for deeper restoration, we’re here to walk alongside you.

If you’re holding onto worry, grief, or unanswered questions, you don’t have to carry them alone.

Friday nights are for slowing down and remembering the people who have shaped us. 🤍
This week’s dinner table question invites gratitude, storytelling, and deeper connection.

Dinner Table Question:
What is one gift you have been given from someone who has impacted your life?

Sometimes the greatest gifts aren’t things—but wisdom, presence, love, or faith passed down over time. May your table be filled with meaningful conversation tonight.

God’s Word was never meant to be rushed through—it was meant to be lived in.

Meditating on Scripture can help quiet the mind, steady the heart, inspire hope, deepen compassion, and even bring rest to your body. When we slow down with God’s truth, we create space for transformation.

Let this be your invitation to build the habit of meditating on God’s Word.

Whatever you’re carrying today—you don’t have to hold it alone.
God invites you to place every worry, fear, and burden into His care.

Take a deep breath. Release what feels heavy.
He cares deeply for you.

If anxiety has been weighing on your heart, feel free to share a prayer request with us—we’re here.

Around the table, stories are shared, hearts are opened, and connection grows.
This week’s question is a gentle invitation to reflect on growth, grace, and the ways God meets us over time.

Dinner Table Question:
Share 1 or 2 Bible Verses that have changed your life.

May your conversation be filled with honesty, hope, and compassion.

Every one of us has areas where God is still inviting growth. In those moments, loving, grace-filled support can help us return to the path of redemption—not just being saved, but living as a reflection of Christ in our daily lives.

This is the heart of the work we do at His High Places.
