We are calling on PCOS patient and parent advocates from all States and territories to participate in the PCOS Externally-Led Patient-Focused Drug Development Meeting (PCOS EL-PFDD Meeting) on Friday, November 3rd – especially DE, GU, IA, NE, NM, PR, SD, UT, VI, VT, and WV where we don’t currently have patient or parent advocate representation for the meeting.

ARE YOU TIRED OF NO REAL TREATMENT OPTIONS FOR PCOS?

It's been nearly 90 years, and there have been no FDA-approved treatments specifically for PCOS. To address this critical gap in care, PCOS Challenge: The National Polycystic O***y Syndrome Association has organized the PCOS EL-PFDD Meeting as an opportunity for the FDA, medical product developers and other key stakeholders to hear directly from individuals with PCOS about their lived experiences and needs and priorities for new treatments.

This is the only PFDD meeting that will ever be done for PCOS. Every voice and lived experience is valued and needed for this effort. We want to ensure the FDA and medical product developers hear the full and diverse range of patient voices in our community to develop and approve the best treatments.
The PCOS EL-PFDD Meeting benefits all PCOS patients, including those not currently taking medications. It helps development efforts to ensure that options are available for all patients, whether their goals are overcoming hormone imbalance, hair and skin issues, family-building difficulties, or unexpected health challenges.
