I'm really late to post this, but this past November was Kairos's 10th birthday! I sold the business to a company called Kovo in 2023, which has been a good experience as they align with the same culture and ethics that have always been at our core.

We offer a lot more now too. Our small entity is still ran by amazing women and we are still passionate about mental health and the providers we serve, but we have an awesome backing and have options for medical, ambulance, EMS, facility billing, and more.

Update on the Change Healthcare Cyberattack.

Change Healthcare, a health care technology company that is part of Optum and owned by UnitedHealth Group, announced Feb. 21 they were hit with a cyberattack that disrupted a number of its systems and services, according to a statement posted on its website.

World su***de prevention day is a global awareness event observed on the 10th of September every year for the last two decades, commemorating the awareness of su***de prevention and celebrating the counteractions made to abolish it.

In 2021, more than 48,000 Americans were lost to su***de, over 12.3 million adults seriously considered su***de, and 1.7 million people attempted su***de. Su***de is the second leading cause of death among youth and young adults between the ages of 10 and 24 years old. And the su***de rate for veterans was more than 50 percent greater than for non-veteran adults. Yet despite the fact that so many Americans struggle with their mental health, treatment is often too expensive or inaccessible.

This year, 2023, the World su***de prevention day theme is "Creating Hope Through Action".

May is Mental Health Awareness month and Small Business Month amongst others. We are small business that serves mental health providers. We are so grateful for what we do and appreciate our clients and how they help our communities.

🏆 We are getting closer to being done showing off all the awards. It has been so fun! 🏆

Natasha is our Employee Manager and a Billing Specialist and can juggle more things than anyone I know. She survives by coffee and lots of it! She is great at handling what needs to be done and is never afraid of challenges. We are so glad she is in this adventure with us.

Amber is our AR (accounts receivable) Specialist. She doesn't take no for an answer when it comes to insurance denials or unnecessary clawbacks. She is quiet and behind the scenes, but don't mess with her when an insurance says no. We appreciate her so much and we are so glad she is a part of

Awards, awards, and more awards 🎉

Insurance changes things all the time. Aarin has been so incredibly patient as we try to get the changes figured out and new SOPs written, but not gonna lie it can be a huge pain in the... She has been awesome with feedback, brainstorming, and getting things figured out. She brings such light to our every day tasks. And she has the best laugh!
