Dear friends,
Thank you for joining me in this conversation about AND as a place to live from as much and as deeply and truthfully as possible.

It's been a challenge for me to remain true to this inviting and embracing meadow of AND because, honestly, sometimes it simply feels good and right to leave it in order to also remain true to my strong feelings about events and relationships.
•
I have learned, though, to return to AND more readily and with more clarity because this place of AND flows from a deeper, wiser, more authentic well of my Self, and THAT simply feels incredibly empowering.
•
I am truly curious about your take on AND, your feedback, experiences, questions. I'll be posting my thoughts and meditations as frequently here as I can, and very much look forward to our conversations about AND.

After a long pause between the inhale and exhale of life, I am delighted to invite you to join me for a meditation miniseries which I am creating around "AND" as a place to live from in your daily decisions, relationships, narratives, and beliefs.
•
In January of this year, I decided to let this single word, AND, guide my life. It's been quite a revelation about judgement and polarity. This year, probably more than any other, has been an incredibly fertile testing ground to see if I can remain in the AND, or slide back into the old EITHER-OR paradigm.
•
Needless to say, I am excited to share with you how my AND journey is unfolding, so you may try it for yourself if it speaks to you. I honestly believe that the AND place to live from is a true source not only of hope but of the deepest place of knowing.

Allow yourself to grieve the loss of Jane Goodall, a beautiful and strong voice for compassion and peace in our world.

And then include a gentle but firm nurturing of peace and compassion inside yourself. How does your body feel when it is engulfed in peace? How do you see people and situations in your life differently after you have filled your own cup of compassion?

I know that no phase lasts forever, or it wouldn't be a phase, and that peace and compassion are ours to experience fully and unconditionally.

This quote has always rung true. At the same time, this form of intelligence feels like one of the most challenging abilities to develop.

Would you be willing to try it for even just one day? And notice how often you catch yourself evaluating or judging?

It's my invitation to you as much as it is to myself to gently move toward a judgement-free world: honoring the place of fear that birthed the evaluation or judgement, and then release it with an intention to move beyond it.

Let me know how it feels to you or what it might bring to the surface of your awareness. Be gentle with yourself.

Sometimes, the difference between what we know and what is true is paper thin because we have held what we know as true for so long.

But this full moon is an invitation, especially at this time, to take a close look and feel into the difference. If what you encounter is not unconditional love for everyone, then it might be what you know but not what is universally true.

Explore it and have fun with it. It's not a quiz, test or exam, just an invitation.

This screenshot of my spirit animal this week from immediately felt like a pointed summary of women's power. Sometimes it's a silent power, sometimes it's a wild raging storm.
•
I have felt both lately. Each time, my focus returns to the moment of the Phoenix's transformation from being ashes to rising confidently and undeterred as its only possible truth.
•
This point of magic, when nothing else makes sense but an inevitable transformation at the moment when all seems lost, has fueled my spirit the last few months. I hope it may fuel yours as well.
