Engracia Gill LCSW

Engracia Gill LCSW Difficult life events such as a relationship breakup, divorce, addictions and depression demand learning new coping skills. With trust, all is achievable.

My great joy is to facilitate healing in body, mind and spirit. I use a varied approach to suit your needs and circumstances. Understanding your world is my focus. We work to transform your life stressors into growth opportunities, a challenge I meet willingly. Cognitive-behavioral tools, calming body/mind processes and positive bonding techniques foster strength by reprogramming the brain to embrace a proactive attitude. I have extensive experience using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing to heal trauma. I love working with couples, individuals, children and groups. I am warm, open with an easy laugh. I have a deep interest in the human heart and mind. I continuously instill hope in my clients and support them to grow in the direction of their dreams. I am deeply honored to do this work. SPECIALTIES
I specialize in the treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders through the use of EMDR™, a body/mind technique that transforms anxiety and depression. I have extensive training that applies to the treatment of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. I specialize in addressing the stress component to physical illness and disorders through the use of Emotional Transformational Therapy (ETT™). I have additional training that qualifies me for the treatment of relationship issues from marital communication problems to transforming the devastating costs of an affair through training with DEEP therapy and PACT therapy. Additionally, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) to aid in resolving couples issues is another training that I can add to my extensive bag of therapeutic tools. I have a long history in treating codependency issues for families with chemical dependency histories. I also have extensive experience dealing with s*x addiction issues, love addiction issues, relationship issues and family challenges. I love to work with adolescents to redress anxiety and depression issues. QUALIFICATION AND TRAINING

If you’re out here trying to keep your inner toddler calm too, you’re not alone. We got this… one juice box moment at a time. 🧃😅

When your mind is doing laps like it’s training for a marathon, just remind yourself: you don’t have to win the race.

Take a deep breath — or ten — and pretend you’re a calm cucumber, even if inside you’re a caffeinated squirrel. 🐿️

Bonus points if you actually feel calmer after.

You’d never call your best friend lazy for needing rest.
You’d never shame them for crying, or tell them to “just get over it.”

So why talk to yourself that way?

Give yourself the same grace, compassion, and patience you’d offer someone you love. You’re doing the best you can — and that’s enough. 💛

Brains are like toddlers with a remote control — one minute they’re running the show, the next they demand a nap, a snack, and an emergency hug. 🧠

Mental health is 24/7 — it doesn’t take breaks just because the workday ends.

Showing compassion outside of “office hours” means recognizing that healing and struggle happen anytime, anywhere.

Boundaries aren’t about shutting people out — they’re about protecting your peace.

Saying “no” doesn’t make you selfish, it makes you self-aware.

You can’t pour from an empty cup, so setting limits is necessary, not optional.

Give yourself permission to create space for what truly serves your well-being. 💪✨

Maybe you didn’t do everything on your list today — but you got out of bed, answered that one hard email, took a breath when things felt heavy.

That counts. That's progress.
