Willow Springs Memory Care residents in Redding, California enjoyed a special visit from young members of the local 4-H Club, who braved the chilly weather to bring along baby goats, "Snowflake" and "Honeybun", to the delight of residents.

Interactions with goats and other gentle animals aren’t just fun, they also help reduce anxiety, spark memories, and create meaningful moments for individuals living with dementia.

Intentional movement isn’t just exercise, it’s therapy for the mind and spirit. Meditation and gentle stretching support cognitive health, reduce anxiety, and promote emotional balance. It’s one of the many ways our dementia care specialists help residents feel grounded and at ease.

What do socks and Dr. Seuss have in common? A lot, if you ask residents of Concord Place Memory Care in Knoxville, Tennessee. Residents collected 250+ pairs of socks during their annual “Seniors Reading Seuss for Socks” drive!

While reading Dr. Seuss classics aloud, members of the greater community came by to donate pairs of new socks, which will be distributed through the Red Cross to underserved families in the area.

What a great way to spread a little comfort and care, Seuss-style! The event was covered by local NBC Channel 10. You can watch it here:
