Kids are just as susceptible to digital eye strain as adults, and in some cases, using screens for long periods of time may also increase kids' risk of developing other eye conditions, like myopia and dry eye disease.
Kids can benefit from a little extra help and guidance while using screens. Encourage your child to take short vision breaks every 20 minutes, and help them adjust their screen settings and position for their needs.
Don't forget to schedule regular eye exams as well. Annual eye exams are crucial for monitoring kids' vision and eye health as they grow.
