Coping Skills for Female Identifying Teens https://wix.to/xn5cNq6
Sundstrom Clinical Services is pleased to announce a six-week teen group focused on teaching and practicing important coping skills. Teens girls face a multitude of stressors including problems in their relationships, pressures to “measure up,” and academic demands. Group therapy can be an effective way for teens to work towards improved mental health while building relationships with peers in an emotionally safe and supportive environment. During the one hour group sessions, teens will have the chance to grow in their mindfulness skills, self-soothing abilities, connectedness in relationships, and taking perspective when life is challenging. Each session will teach new skills while giving teens the chance to practice what they learn through conversation and activities in the group. Past participants reported substantial improvements in their well-being scores as individuals, in their relationships, and in overall aspects of their life.
