Building a sense of community is what we love about Tanner Spring. Our residents are not just seniors living in assisted living or memory care, but they are neighbors, they are friends, they are family and most of all, they are a community. Today during Knitting and Embroidery Club, Norma was helping her friend Vi with who was struggling with her embroidery. They were proud at the end when Vi started to remember the technique again. They both are smiling with accomplishment. Beautiful job ladies!
With our GeriActive activity program being Montessori based, it allows our residents to have control in what they want in their community. It gives them independence to continue being the individual they have always been. This activity program also encourages our residents to lead the activities just like Norma was doing.
