Dear SLP Students, Alumni, Faculty and Staff,

Next month marks a truly special milestone — 10 years of Monmouth University’s Center for Speech and Language Disorders!

Over the past decade, we’ve grown from a client size of 26 to 96 and a student cohort size of 26 to 44, and none of it would have been possible without your trust, support, and dedication.

Together, we’ve achieved a waiting list for the clinic and a hugely successful name for ourselves. These moments remind us that our greatest strength lies in the people who believe in our vision.

As we celebrate this anniversary, we’re not just looking back — we’re looking forward to the next chapter with even more passion and purpose.

"Yesterday, Makayla Murphy and I represented Monmouth University at Student Advocacy Day through the New Jersey Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NJSHA)."

"As one of two students chosen from each Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology program across New Jersey, we traveled to the State House in Trenton to meet with NJSHA lobbyists and state legislators. This experience provided valuable insight into grass-roots advocacy and how to effectively engage in meaningful conversations that support our field."

Monmouth University will have a delayed opening at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 25. Classes will begin at 10:05 a.m. All classes that start before 10 a.m. are cancelled. Employees and students, please check your email for detailed information.
