Pfizer just released its vaccine data in kids 6 months-4 years old. In a study of 1700 kids, it was found to be safe and 80% effective. Our daughter Mari was one of the 1700 and she is my little hero. I believe that she was the first person her age in Ventura County to be in the trial. I hope that this data helps parents make decisions for their children especially those at highest risk. We find out today which study arm she was in but she had no reaction to any of the shots so I honestly don’t know. She has never had Covid and neither have we. Here she is having chicken wings and a milkshake after her first shot in Palos Verdes. She is enjoying preschool and looking forward to going today to play with her friends.
