Meet the Therapist
She is a small-town girl from Hughes, Arkansas, whose passion for healing is deeply rooted in community, faith, and service. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, wife, mother, and follower of Christ, Lalicia brings both professional expertise and lived experience into the therapeutic space.
Through GLO Counseling, she holds space for clients to feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. GLO Counseling’s mission;Grow. Live. Overcome., guides the work by empowering individuals and families to develop emotional insight, build resilience, and move toward wholeness with confidence and hope.
Her approach is compassionate, culturally responsive, and grounded in evidence-based practice, with a special focus on grief, loss, and life transitions. Last night Holiday Grief Circle group was powerful.
We identified grief triggers, recognized the physical signs of grief, and explored coping skills to support ourselves through the holidays. Around the table, we shared stories, laughed, cried, and held space for one another. Healing often happens in connection.

Next week, we shift our focus while maintaining gains.

1. Setting boundaries during the holidays
2. The guilt of joy in grief

We’ll talk about protecting your emotional energy, honoring your needs, and releasing the belief that joy means you’re letting go of love. Grief and joy can exist in the same space.

Thank you to everyone who showed up with honesty and courage. You are not alone in this journey.
