Autism Awareness Day isn’t just about awareness — it’s about acceptance, understanding, and celebrating every child exactly as they are. It’s about seeing the effort behind the milestones that others might take for granted. The brave first steps, the hard-won words, the quiet victories, the big feelings, and the tiny moments that mean everything.

It’s about the families who advocate tirelessly, the children who teach us new ways to communicate, and the reminder that progress looks different for everyone — and that’s okay. Different is not less. Different is not broken. Different is simply different.

Every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and valued for who they are today, not just who the world expects them to be tomorrow. The goal isn’t to change who they are — it’s to create a world that welcomes them exactly as they come.

🐣 Thrive at Home Tip Tuesday 🐣

Having trouble opening those Easter eggs? It actually takes strong little hands and good coordination! Try these simple activities at home:

• Play-Doh fun – Roll, squeeze, and hide small toys inside to dig out

• Squeeze bottles – Use spray bottles in the bath or for outdoor play

• Clothespin games – Clip them onto a basket or make it a color matching game

• Egg practice – Fill plastic eggs and let your child twist, pull, and pop them open

• Sponge squeezes – Soak and squeeze sponges during bath time

These activities help strengthen the small muscles in the hands, making everyday tasks easier!
