Today, our owner Christian Gullette had the opportunity to speak at the Louisiana Misdemeanor Probation Association conference, where she shared her personal journey and past experiences with probation. She spoke openly about how programs within the probation system can create opportunities for accountability, structure, and real life change for individuals who are trying to rebuild their lives.

Christian expressed sincere gratitude for the role probation programs play in helping individuals turn their lives around, and how meaningful it is to now work alongside probation through ARISE Counseling & Wellness and ARISE Recovery Homes. What was once a personal part of her story has now come full circle into a mission of service and advocacy for others who are walking a similar path.

At ARISE, our mission goes beyond treatment. We help people start completely over. Through recovery support, transitional housing, life skills, accountability, and community, we help individuals successfully navigate re-entry into society after addiction, legal struggles, and life instability. Our goal is to provide the tools, support, and environment people need to rebuild their lives with dignity, purpose, and long-term recovery.

It was truly an honor to share how collaboration between probation, treatment providers, and recovery housing can create real opportunities for transformation and second chances. We are grateful for the work probation officers do every day and proud to stand alongside them in helping individuals find healing, stability, and a new beginning.

Today, ARISE Counseling & Wellness had the privilege of attending the Louisiana Misdemeanor Probation Association Conference. It is an honor to be present among professionals who dedicate their lives to supporting individuals involved in the justice system and helping create pathways toward accountability, healing, and long-term recovery.

This moment holds special meaning for ARISE’s owner, Christian Gullette. Years ago, Christian stood on the other side of the system while on probation for distribution charges. Today, she stands in these spaces as a provider, advocate, and recovery leader — a powerful reminder that recovery, redemption, and transformation are truly possible when individuals are given the support, resources, and opportunity to rebuild their lives.

ARISE is grateful for the opportunity to connect with probation officers, court professionals, and community partners who share the mission of helping people change the trajectory of their lives.

Having organizations willing to show up, connect face-to-face, and invest their time in educating and supporting our clients makes such a meaningful difference. Arise Counseling & Wellness is hosting a Recovery-Friendly Mardi Gras Gathering in our parking lot on Saturday, February 7 — a space created with intention, connection, and support in mind.

🎭 Two parade times, one safe space:

I am honestly blown away by the number of people we were able to help — and by the level of growth, healing, and success we have witnessed at ARISE Counseling & Wellness. Every single day, I find myself in awe of what has been built and created here in such a short amount of time.

We were only open six months last year — and the impact we were able to make in that time speaks volumes. The lives changed, the breakthroughs achieved, and the community formed have exceeded anything I could have imagined. I cannot wait to see what is possible with a full year ahead of us in 2026.

It is my continued commitment to provide excellent, ethical, and compassionate care to every client we serve. Our work is intentional, our mission is clear, and our focus remains on meeting people where they are and walking alongside them as they heal.

I am deeply grateful for every client who trusted us with their story and every staff member who shows up daily with heart, professionalism, and dedication. Together, we are not just providing services — we are building a community rooted in accountability, support, and hope.

This week counselor Shea had clients step into a mindset-to-movement vision board session—where thoughts turned into plans and plans turned into purpose. The group kicked off by letting go of what no longer serves them from the past year, then shifted into dreaming, defining, and designing what they want more of in the year ahead.

With music playing and creativity flowing, clients translated their goals and intentions into visual blueprints they can carry forward—reminders of who they’re becoming and what they’re working toward. It wasn’t just about vision boards; it was about claiming direction, confidence, and momentum.

Taylor led a fun, inventive vision board group that brought creativity and intention together in the best way. Clients reflected on the past year, laughed, shared insights, and then shifted gears to dream big—setting bold goals and meaningful intentions for the year ahead.

From cutting and collaging to visualizing and planning, clients transformed their goals into powerful visual roadmaps—something they can look back on when motivation dips or clarity is needed. The room was filled with energy, creativity, and hope as intentions turned into action-ready visions.
