Today, American Liver Foundation is proud to announce a new partnership with Helio Genomics that empowers millions of Americans to find out if they are at risk for, or already have, liver cancer. Liver cancer is rapidly becoming a public health crisis and is often called a “silent killer” because most people have no symptoms in the early stages.

“Our goal through this partnership is to provide advanced tools so that we have an educated, informed public which understands their liver cancer status before it’s too late,” said Lorraine Stiehl, CEO of American Liver Foundation.''

Your support helps more people like Henry. And today on Giving Tuesday, your gift is doubled—up to $30,000. Help fuel education, resources, advocacy, research, and the American Liver Foundation Living Donor Network™.

When baby Cole was diagnosed with biliary atresia at just two months old, his tiny liver was failing. His family waited five long months for the call that would save his life, and allow his parents to feel hopeful for the first time since his diagnosis.

That call finally came—and thanks to expert care, Cole is thriving today, and his parents can breathe again. But right now, other children like Cole are waiting. Every day without answers is terrifying for their families.

Your generosity helps write the next chapter in their lives. This Giving Tuesday, every donation will be matched up to $30,000, doubling your impact for the 100 million Americans affected by liver disease. Donate today! https://alf.social/gt25

Meet Bili the Brave: bilithebrave.org

Bili the Brave is a special resource kit and plush lion created by the American Liver Foundation to comfort and empower kids living with biliary atresia (BA).

With a small embroidered scar, an armband, and a recorded “roar” made from real children with BA, Bili helps little ones feel seen, brave, and less alone on their liver disease journey.

Each free Bili the Brave Toolkit (available through participating children’s hospitals) includes:
• A Bili the Brave plush lion
• A children’s book about Bili’s story
• A medical bracelet and nylon bag
• Parent resources like a support journal and education on BA and pediatric liver disease

If your child is affected by biliary atresia, talk with your care team to see if their hospital participates in the Bili the Brave program, and visit bilithebrave.org to learn more about this powerful resource for BA families.
