Today, Mark E. Manigan, President and Chief Executive Officer, RWJBarnabas Health and Celeste Warren, Member, RWJBarnabas Health Board of Trustees, and Founder, Celeste Warren Consulting, LLC, led an enlightening fireside chat titled, “Belonging & Black History Month: Leadership, Legacy and the Power of Being Seen.” Together, they explored how leadership and lived experience shape workplaces where every individual feels seen, valued and empowered to contribute. The event began with a warm welcome from Lynda Markoe, Chief People Officer, and concluded with inspiring closing remarks from Dwight McBee, SVP and Chief Experience Officer.
With more than 150 team members in attendance, both in-person and virtually, the event reflected our collective commitment to fostering connection, trust and a shared sense of purpose across RWJBarnabas Health.
At RWJBarnabas Health, belonging is foundational to our mission and reflected in our values of accountability, compassion, curiosity, empathy, excellence, kindness, respect and teamwork.
