Restoring shape after extreme weight loss.

This patient presented with significant skin laxity, volume loss, and ptosis following extreme weight loss affecting the breasts, abdomen, hips, thighs, buttocks, and arms.

Her surgery included a total mid body lift with abdominoplasty, flankplasty, hip and thigh plasty, buttock lift with auto-augmentation, puboplasty, and brachioplasty. To address breast hypoplasia and ptosis, a bilateral mastopexy with augmentation was performed using implants to restore upper-pole fullness while reshaping and supporting the breast with a superior pedicle lift.

A complete revision of a complex reconstruction.

This patient came to us after multiple prior attempts at post-mastectomy reconstruction with persistent asymmetry, implant malposition, scarring, pain, and ni**le distortion. Revision required releasing all scar tissue and returning the muscle to the chest while rebuilding both breasts using pre pectoral implants with an AlloDerm wrap for support and symmetry. A breast lift was performed to restore position and contour, and additional body contouring procedures were completed at the same time.
