“Deep plane” is all the rage

In Dr. Spiro’s High SMAS bilaminar approach, different layers of the face move in different directions. The deeper tissues are repositioned upward, outward, and toward the center in front of the neck, while the skin follows its own natural vector.

High SMAS Deep Plane face and neck lift.

For this patient, Dr. Spiro combined fat grafting to restore volume throughout the face to address skin laxity, aging deflation, and redefine the jawline and neck. A brow lift and upper and lower blepharoplasty were also performed to correct asymmetry, excess skin, and lines.
