Implant removal with lift to achieve natural reconstruction.

This patient came to us seeking implant removal due to capsular contracture and breast ptosis. Her surgery included a bilateral total capsulectomy with en-bloc removal of deflated textured implants, combined with a mastopexy and auto augmentation using her own natural tissue.

By reshaping and repositioning the existing breast tissue with dermoglandular flaps, we restored lift, projection, and balance without replacing the implants.

The result is a natural, supported breast shape that reflects her goals and anatomy.

There are many versions of a tummy tuck and the right one depends on your anatomy and your goals, not a trending word.

A “mini” tummy tuck does not automatically mean a smaller incision or a snatched result. In many cases achieving true abdominal contouring requires abdominal wall repair, skin remodeling, and full sculpting regardless of how limited the concern may seem.

If a limited approach can achieve the outcome you want, that’s a win. If not, doing less often leads to wanting more later.

As the year comes to a close, Dr. Spiro reflects on another full year in the operating room alongside a team that makes it all possible. Shown here at CBMC where Dr. Spiro has performed full days of surgery twice a week for the past 29 years! Dr. Spiro performed about 1000 procedures this year between the LSC Ambulatory Center and CBMC Hospital.
