The health care team at Barnabas Health’s Hospice and Palliative Care Centers has been privileged to serve more than 52,000 patients and their families during one of the most personal times of their lives. Specially trained experts in end-of-life care are privileged to provide comprehensive and compassionate medical, emotional and spiritual care at a time when it is needed most. Our programs, which serve infants, children, adults and the elderly, honor the individual choices and values of each patient and family, while offering full access to the broad array of services provided by Barnabas Health. Barnabas Health Home Care offers patients the option of receiving specialized services in the place where they are most comfortable – their home. Our team of professionals works closely with each individual’s health care team to ensure wellness goals are being met. Through patient and family education and communication, we become a partner in each patient’s health care plan to ensure the illness and treatment plan are fully understood. Our programs, which serve patients of all ages, focus on the assisting the individual in achieving and maintaining the highest possible level of wellness and independence.

The Barnabas Health Hospice Thrift Shop, located at 51 North Fullerton Street in Montclair, permanently closed on Tuesday, August 25.
The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the Shop’s ability to operate successfully. Ensuring the safety of our volunteers, customers and employees guided us in making this very difficult decision.
We extend sincere thanks and best wishes for good health to everyone who has supported the Thrift Shop, which helped to fund services provided to patients and families receiving hospice and palliative care.
