My name is Pam. Dr. Boehme is my dear brother. As you surely all know, he is no longer with us. Our family is facing a situation that I know he would have rallied wholeheartedly behind. Last Monday, December 3, beautiful preemie twins were born to my son and his husband. They are Dr. Boehme's niece and nephew, Abigail and Alexander. They were born at 30 weeks. Their NICU care is not being met by their parents insurance so we are raising funds by reaching out. Chris would have been all over this, but he is not here to help. So, I am being his voice. A Message From A Fellow Patient of Dr. Boehme's....

I was a patient of Dr. Boehme’s. He was not only a dr to me but he became a friend as well. From reading comments I can tell that he played an important role in many of his patients lives. I would like to put together a compilation of what he meant to his patients and share his life as a doctor with his friends and family as well. My name is Danny Simon and I am a therapist, as well as Dr. Boehme’s nephew. I want to thank everyone for their messages and comments of support and praise for my uncle. It means a lot to see how many people’s lives he had such a positive impact on. He was a brilliant doctor, an amazing colleague, and one of the coolest uncles you could ask for. He and I worked together many times over the years and I want to let all of his patients know I will be available to you to assist with figuring out what to do next after receiving this unexpected and sad news. I’d be happy to help you find a psychiatrist, a therapist, or just talk if you feel like that’s what you need right now. Parts of Dr. Boehme's services will be recorded and put on Claybar's website. I'll be sure to post a link when it is available. Thanks so much to everyone. The absolute outpouring of love and concern has been and will always be a comfort to us his family. To know he meant so much to so many speaks volumes as to just what the world has lost with his passing. Our grief is unbearable, but it is somehow eased a bit knowing how many are sharing it with us. He is irreplaceable. Thanks again, and love to all, Pam (Chris's sister).

The services are as follows: Visitation: Thursday 5 to 8 (beginning at 4 for family) and the Wake Service at 6:30. At Claybar.
The Church Service: Friday at 10 am at St. Mary Church, with graveside service at St. Mary cemetery to follow.
