It’s disease management at best: outside-in. Thats why you will see babies at our office. Obviously it’s not because they have a golf injury. But one day they will and we will be here for that too 😊

PSOAS “so-as” release during pregnancy is so important for balancing the pelvis and preparing the body for birth! It’s also a major cause of pain in the low back and sacrum.

Nervous system regulation in your children, really starts with the parents. Children co-regulate with parents and learn how to respond to their environment from caregivers.

I use the term “Trickle Down Regulation” to describe the true hierarchy of nervous system regulation for a family system. We see kids in our office who are in a state of fight or flight, and are overwhelmed by their external environment. While we are always happy to see your children for chiropractic care, starting with the parents is preferred because we will have greater impact on the entire family system this way.

We truly recommend parents seek mental health counseling to help manage daily life and past trauma and chiropractic care to help the physical body to release stored stress and disrupt the cycle of fight or flight held in the nervous system and tissues.

The healthier your nervous system is, the greater capacity for LIFE you have.

If your child is getting recurring ear infections, a chiropractic evaluation is recommended! The inner ear may have trouble draining due to a movement restriction of the first bone in vertebral column (the atlas bone) and its position right below the Eustachian tube.

➡️The inflammation of the spinal nerves from this restriction may also impact the proper neuro-immune response needed to stay healthy!

➡️Kiddos are adapting to their environment and microbes all of the time. Helping them stay resilient is key 🔑 for a healthier life and less sick days!

➡️That’s where pediatric chiropractic comes into the picture.
