I got my first trip of the season on Feb 12th and I’ve had MAYBE 4 days off from then till now, and I couldn’t be happier! I’m so thankful for all of my clients new and returning, I honestly could have never imagined to be where I am today in the fishing/guiding business when I was starting out, it was just a way to keep the bills afloat while I was figuring out life. Thanks to some great family and friends and a quick return clientele base, I was starting to see that this could actually be what I was meant to do for a living….. fast forward 5 years and it’s still something I wake up excited to do every day, and can’t imagine what going back to a regular job would be like. So thank you to all my clients, and all my friends and family for always reassuring me that the scariest decision I ever made in my life was probably the best one. Here’s to another 5 years of making memories and putting people on some great fish!

Special shout out to y’all have never doubted me from that start and always kept my dream alive even when I thought it was time to wake up, and I’ll never be able to repay y’all for that! 🙏🏼

This big girl helped me and lock up a 68th place finish out of 160 boats in the 2nd RMMC series, and with zero practice and only the knowledge from my shiner trips we were able to put something together and caught fish all day long, but only got the one big bite. And fishing against these hammers you need 5 big bites to even be in the ball park. Congrats to the winners and everyone who cashed a check, some great bags weighed in and proving the lake is recovering!

Shout out to for always putting on a top notch tournament for us anglers, from the early mornings at the galley making us breakfast, to the staff being completely engaged and involved with the anglers and process, you can tell everyone and everything about the place lives and breathes BASS FISHING!

Caught all of our fish throwing swim jigs and flipping rage menace, and of course and got all the fish to the boat with ease!

These three anchored a 3rd place finish and a CLEAN SWEEP on all the side pots with my buddy Johnny for the Tim Rose derby on Osbourne today! Despite the heavy winds and non stop rains all day we were able to capitalize on a small window of sunshine and the fish just happened to turn on for us.

Caught all my fish today on the Strike King Lure Company walking dawg jr, while the SCENKO STIX, LLC and Lew's Fishing kept them all pinned and winched to the boat!

And of course can’t forget the good folks over at Power Plus Marine for always keeping the Ranger Boats and Mercury Marine in top shape, if your ever in west palm beach and have any issues with your Merc, they are the people to see!

Spent the last couple days on Lake Okeechobee with a good friend and repeat client Chris and his mom Kristen. His whole goal was to beat his PB Large Mouth of 3 pounds, so after we did that in the first 30mins of day one…. 😅😭🤣😭

but no seriously Chris had one of those trips to Okeechobee people dream about! He had over a dozen fish both days, day one he caught his PB coming right in at 6 pounds, throwing a gambler swimjig with a EZ swimmer trailer( his first time ever throwing a swimjig by the way) and she came up out the grass and gave him a good ol Okeechobee bass showdown!

Day two we set up for a full shiner day, and he caught not one, not two, not three, but FOUR largemouth well into the 5+ pound class range, and a bonus 8.6pound Bowfin that he so effortlessly manifested, by saying “catching a big bowfin would be cool”, my mind was BLOWN! This lake never fails to amaze me, can’t wait to show more and more people this beautiful place!
