Fat transfer results take patience!

It’s completely normal for a portion of the transferred fat to be reabsorbed during healing. This is why many surgeons slightly “overfill” the area—to account for the natural loss that occurs as your body adjusts.

Protect your results by following post-op instructions closely and giving your body the time it needs to heal properly. Final results are a process, not an overnight outcome.

Pressotherapy is a great supportive tool in post-op recovery to help manage swelling and improve lymphatic flow. While it can assist with fluid movement, it works best when combined with proper post-surgical care and professional lymphatic massage.

Always make sure your body is ready for this treatment based on your surgeon’s timeline.

Compression socks are a small but powerful part of post-op recovery. By helping improve circulation and reduce swelling, they support your body while it heals and lower the risk of complications during the early recovery phase.
Always follow your provider’s instructions on how long to wear them—and remember, proper fit matters!

Faja burns are one of the most common (and preventable) post-op skin issues. Compression is essential for healing—but too much pressure, friction, or moisture can damage the skin. Proper fit, clean garments, and daily skin checks make a huge difference in protecting your results and your recovery.

Always listen to your body—pain and burning are warning signs, not something to push through.

Body taping with KT Tape can be a helpful addition to your post-op recovery plan 🙌✨

When applied correctly (and cleared by your surgeon), it may help support lymphatic flow, reduce swelling, and ease that tight, heavy feeling after surgery.
Remember — it’s not a replacement for compression or professional care. It’s a tool to SUPPORT the healing process, not shortcut it.

Healing takes strategy, patience, and proper aftercare 💛

FEELING FAINT? GRAB AN ALCOHOL PAD 🤍

Did you know an alcohol pad can help when you’re feeling lightheaded or like you might pass out?

When someone feels faint (especially after surgery, during dressing changes, when removing compression garments, or even at the sight of blood), it’s often due to a vasovagal response — a sudden drop in heart rate and blood pressure.

👃 Why an alcohol pad?

The strong scent stimulates the senses and can help “interrupt” that faint feeling. It may:
• Increase alertness
• Reduce nausea
• Help bring you back to baseline
• Prevent a full fainting episode

✨ How to use it:
Open the alcohol pad and hold it a few inches under the nose. Take slow, steady breaths until the dizzy feeling passes.

⚠️ Important:
This is a quick supportive trick — not a replacement for medical evaluation. If someone loses consciousness, has chest pain, severe symptoms, or repeated fainting episodes, seek medical care immediately.

Pro tip: Keep a few alcohol pads in your post-op kit or purse just in case!

Red hair & surgery — let’s clear this up 🔥

You may have heard that redheads “bleed more” during surgery. The reality? There’s no solid evidence that hair color alone causes increased bleeding.

Many natural redheads carry a variation of the MC1R gene, which can influence pain perception and response to anesthesia — meaning some may need slightly different anesthesia management. But bleeding risk is based on factors like overall health, medications, supplements, surgical technique, and proper pre-op prep — not hair color.

Every body is different. That’s why a thorough consultation and honest medical history matter far more than genetics tied to hair color.

Myth busted ✔️

Surgery is the procedure.
Recovery is the process.
Results are the lifestyle. 💫
One of the biggest mistakes people make? Budgeting for the surgery… but not for what comes after.

Post-op care isn’t “extra” — it’s part of protecting your results. Compression garments, lymphatic massages, medications, supplies, help at home, and time off work all play a role in how smoothly you heal and how your final outcome looks.

Less stress = better healing.
Better healing = better results.

Plan for the recovery phase the same way you plan for the procedure itself. Your body (and your results) will thank you. 💖

That woozy, “I’m about to pass out” feeling after taking off your faja? You’re not crazy — and you’re not alone 😮‍💨

Your surgical garment provides constant compression, so when it comes off, your body has to quickly adjust to the pressure change. That sudden shift can cause a temporary drop in blood pressure → hello dizziness, lightheadedness, and seeing stars.

💡 Always remove your faja while seated, move slowly, and stay hydrated. If symptoms don’t pass quickly once you sit or if you actually faint, call your provider.
Healing isn’t just about looking snatched — it’s about moving safely too 🖤

Your faja isn’t just shapewear — it’s a surgical garment that supports your healing 🧼✨

Keeping it clean protects your skin, reduces irritation, and helps your results. And yes — you should own more than one 🙌

Lymphatic massage isn’t about deep pressure — it’s about direction and flow.

The “heart → lymph nodes” method focuses on clearing central drainage areas first, then guiding fluid inward the way the body is designed to move it 💧

You can support your system at home, but proper professional technique matters most when swelling or recovery is involved.
