Allergy season in South Florida isn’t just a “season”!

Between pollen, humidity, and mold, our eyes deal with allergens nearly 10 months out of the year.

If your eyes are:
• Itchy
• Watery
• Red
• Burning
• Constantly irritated

It might not be dry eye alone — allergies are a major culprit here in West Palm.

🌴 Why it’s worse here:
High humidity creates year-round mold (a HUGE allergen), and on dry, windy days pollen levels spike fast.

👀 What you can do:
✔️ Monitor local pollen counts
✔️ Keep windows closed
✔️ Shower immediately after being outdoors to remove pollen
✔️ Start antihistamines before peak season hits
✔️ Please don’t rub your eyes (we know it’s tempting!)

If your symptoms aren’t improving, it may be time for an exam — not all red eyes are created equal.

Your eyes shouldn’t feel miserable in paradise. 🌊✨
