Ladies…Your body isn’t resisting weight loss…
It’s responding to stress.
I used to think I needed to:
eat less
cut carbs
work out more
be more “disciplined”
But I realized my nervous system was stuck in fight-or-flight! And none of that was going to work the way I wanted it to until I calmed my system down.
Because a stressed body will:
→ spike and crash your blood sugar
→ disrupt your hormones
→ wreck your sleep
→ keep you inflamed, exhausted, and stuck
You can’t heal in survival mode.
The real magic happened when I made these shifts:
Slowed down.
Got outside more.
Moved my body in ways that felt good.
Spent time with people I loved.
Did things that actually calmed my system.
This isn’t “extra”…
this is the foundation.
A calm body = better metabolism.
And a better metabolism is the secret to a healthy life!
