Every parent’s nightmare turned into a "typical day at the office" for us at Profiles OMS. 😅

We had a frantic mom come in after her little one decided a sticker looked like a snack. Because this particular patient happened to be a "Kung Fu Master" when it came to keeping their mouth shut, we took a quick trip to the OR to safely retrieve the culprit.

The good news? It was just a sticker, the "Master" is doing great, and Mom can finally breathe again. You never know what the day will bring in Palm Beach County!

We are currently managing the care of a young man, only 25, who first noticed a lesion on his lip seven years ago. A biopsy at age 18 was inconclusive, and the lesion continued to grow into a large squamous cell carcinoma. This result necessitated a major resection of the lip and cheek.

This patient, a local mechanic, came to us after a traumatic tire explosion resulted in a maxillary fracture and the loss of multiple teeth. His primary request? To regain the natural shape and color of the smile he remembered.
