Dr. Paley explains the science behind the internal lengthening nail he helped develop.

The device consists of two telescoping tubes connected to the bone with screws above and below. Inside the nail is a rare earth magnet. When the External Remote Controller (ERC) is placed on the thigh, powerful magnets within the device interact with the magnet inside the nail causing a tiny internal mechanism to rotate and gradually extend the rod.

Each session lengthens the bone by approximately 1 millimeter per day which is slow, controlled, and precise. Over time, those millimeters add up.

Stature lengthening isn’t about force, it’s about biology, engineering, and gradual bone regeneration working together safely.

Nearly two years ago, Julian began his stature lengthening journey — undergoing bilateral femur lengthening and gaining a full 8 cm in just three months.
