Good Afternoon to our extended Saylor PT family,
We would like to take the time to address how our company is keeping our facilities sanitized and clean to maintain the excellent care we strive to always provide. We understand there may be some concerns as our nation has begun to take precautions on the spread of COVID-19. We would first like to say your health and well being, as well as our staff’s, remains our highest priority. Saylor Physical therapy is just that, a family. It includes our wonderful front desk teams, our therapists, and more importantly, our patients. It is of utmost importance to us to maintain the safest environment in which you can continue your individualized road to recovery, as we know, pain doesn’t stop, and neither do we!
As per OSHA and the Department of Health and Human Services, we will remain in compliance with “Guidance on Preparing Workplaces for COVID-19”.
Please allow us to outline just a few examples of how we are taking precautions:
All high risk items have been removed from our offices:
magazines, pens, candy dishes, and coffee stations
All gym equipment is being cleaned every hour on the hour
Therapists in the gym are sanitizing any and all items patients use that hour (I.e. immediately after a patient uses a band or weight it is sanitized before being returned)
Doorknobs and commonly touched areas/items are being sanitized consistently by front desk and therapists
We are implementing a screening process that consists of a few high risk questions on travel and symptoms on patients to determine if they are appropriate for attending therapy
There are more than a few stations set up through each clinic with hand sanitizer and sanitizing supplies
Therapists are constantly washing hands throughout sessions and before/after each patient
If any staff is feeling sick, they are being encouraged to stay home
As always, please let us know if there is anything we can do to help ease your mind or enhance your care and recovery. Prevention is key!
