We take damaged lives and make them whole, reuniting broken families and guiding our clients toward a life of purpose. An alcohol or drug treatment program typically lasts a set number of days. After that, the addict is left alone in their recovery, with a good chance that they’ll return to an unsafe, unsupportive living situation. All the hard work they did to get sober is gone. The cycle starts all over again. Fern House breaks that cycle by teaching men how to live without drugs or alcohol. We encourage them to stay with us until they are ready to stand on their own two feet, no matter how long that might take. We teach them how to cope without the crutches of drugs and alcohol. We help them reintegrate into society. Our Goals:
Provide our clients with a program of recovery that gives them the tools which will enable them to live sober lives as productive members of our community. Consequently, these men, formerly social and economic burdens to our society, become responsible, tax-paying citizens. Maintain a structured and disciplined environment that teaches our clients personal accountability and responsibility, thus helping him to achieve his restorative potential. Help our residents to clean up the wreckage of their past and reunite with their families. Teach our clients the importance of remaining active in their own recovery by involving them in programs that help others and give back to the community.
