Dr. Tum is our resident Obstetrician and a blessing to mothers who want the option to birth at a birth center. He offered to support Bliss with our mission back when we were in the early stages of construction. He has come to Bliss every week since 2020 to support and consult. This pic is from 2021 when he delivered a baby for one of our clients at St. Mary’s. At 80 years old he is still so thrilled for every one of our pregnant mothers as they embark on their motherhood journey. Thank you, Dr. Tum! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

After having her first two babies in the hospital, this incredible mother decided that she would birth her third baby HER WAY. Her courage and power was palpable in the room as she labored and birthed her third baby girl into her arms. It was an honor for our Bliss team (shown here surrounding her and dad with baby) to hold space for you!

We welcome Midwife Krisa to our Bliss team! She brings a wealth of knowledge in holistic midwifery and newborn care. Krisa cares for her clients with warmth and compassion. She has both hospital and birth center experience as a certified nurse-midwife. Krisa’s favorite place to support women is at a birth center where mothers have more choice and options to birth their way.

Midwife Michelle has been dedicated to Bliss moms and families since 2021. She creates a calm and safe space for birthing mothers at Bliss Birth with her gentle and confident manner of reassuring and supporting women. She has been a certified nurse midwife (CNM) for 14 years and has been in labor and delivery for over 25 years.
