Make sure your supplements are 3rd party tested everyone!! If it's not, you may not be getting what you think you're getting. If theres no 3rd party testing label, leave it on the shelves.

Brands with proprietary formulas will claim it's only because they don't want anyone to steal the formula... but I'm not buying it. They can hid questionable ingredients, and very low "hero ingredient" amounts within those blends and make obnoxious claims about the product. If it were just about not wanting people to steal the formula why wouldn't they just patent it!

Ever feel like you drink water all day but still feel tired, or hard to hydrate? That’s because your body needs more than just water to stay balanced. Minerals like magnesium, potassium, and sodium help your muscles move, your heart beat right, and your cells hold onto the water you drink.

Think of electrolytes as your hydration helpers. They make water work better! You can find them in foods like bananas, nuts, avocados, coconut water, or in a clean electrolyte supplement that has all 5 of the major electrolytes your body needs, like Evident Electrolytes. When you keep both your water and minerals in balance, your body feels stronger, clearer, and more energized. Stay healthy!

To be clear, these minerals should not be given directly to the baby, only to pregnant and breastfeeding moms! During pregnancy, your body needs extra help and minerals like magnesium and potassium do a lot of the work.

Magnesium helps muscles relax, keeps nerves calm, and supports healthy blood pressure as your body changes. Potassium helps balance fluids, prevent swelling, and keep your heart and muscles working the right way.

These minerals help mom feel better and help baby grow strong and healthy. As always, talk to your doctor!

Water is your simplest form of self‑care. Every sip helps your cells thrive, supports digestion, boosts energy, and keeps your glow strong. Don’t wait until you’re thirsty, hydration is the quiet habit that fuels everything you do.

Most people in the U.S. don’t get enough potassium every day, even though our bodies really need it! 🥑🍌

Having too little potassium (called hypokalemia) makes it harder for your nerves and muscles to work right. This can cause tiredness, weak muscles, or even trouble moving.

Having too much potassium (called hyperkalemia) is rare, but it can be serious. It may cause a fast or uneven heartbeat, numbness, or, in severe cases, heart problems. ❤️

So try to eat potassium-rich foods and keep your levels balanced!

Processed foods → often low in fiber and high in additives that can disrupt digestion and make gut balance harder to maintain.
Low-fat foods → can help reduce excess calories, but not all support long-term gut health.
Fiber-rich whole foods → nourish good bacteria, improve digestion, and support a healthier gut environment.

Sugary drinks → may irritate digestion and feed harmful gut bacteria when consumed often.
Diet drinks → lower in sugar, but still best enjoyed in moderation.
Water & herbal teas → help hydration, support digestion, and keep your gut functioning smoothly.

Ignoring probiotics → can slow down gut recovery and microbial balance.
Yogurt → a simple probiotic source that supports digestion.
Fermented foods → provide diverse beneficial bacteria that help strengthen gut health over time.

Small daily choices build a stronger gut — better digestion, better energy, and better overall wellness.

Magnesium, folic acid, and calcium are three nutrients that work together like a support team during pregnancy. They help your body stay strong while your baby grows.

Folic acid or folate, which is the active vitamin that your body uses once broken down, helps your baby’s brain and spine form the right way, especially in the very early weeks of pregnancy. It also helps your body make new cells, which is important because both you and your baby are growing fast.

Calcium is what your baby uses to build strong bones and teeth. If you don’t get enough calcium from food or supplements, your body will take it from your bones to give to the baby, which can make your bones weaker over time.

Magnesium helps your muscles and nerves work smoothly and can help with things like leg cramps and trouble sleeping. It also works together with calcium to build your baby’s bones and helps keep your heartbeat steady.

These are only 3 of the MANY nutrients that your body needs extra of during pregnancy!

Magnesium isn’t all the same — your body uses different types in different ways! ✨

🟢 Magnesium Glycinate
This kind is gentle and easy for your body to use. It helps you relax, sleep better, and stay calm. It’s also easy on your stomach.

⚡ Magnesium Malate
This type helps your body make energy. It’s good for people who work out or get tired or sore muscles.

💧 Magnesium Citrate
This one helps with digestion. It’s good if you sometimes get constipated, but it can make you go to the bathroom more because it doesn't absorb as well.

⬜ Magnesium Oxide
This type doesn’t absorb very well, even though it looks like it has a lot of magnesium. It’s mostly used for heartburn or as a strong laxative.

🧠💪💤 All well absorbed magnesium will help each one of these problems, but each kind helps a little different—so pick the one that helps your body the most!

A lot of these big companies use the term "electrolytes" but in reality its just a bunch of flavored salt with a touch of other minerals. Most Americans get too much salt already and not enough of the other ones like potassium, magnesium, and calcium.
Sure if you are sweating profusely every day then some more salt is good but why pay $2 for flavored salt? Salt is so cheap just salt your food or add some to your drink or under your tongue if more salt is your goal. If your goal is full spectrum electrolytes to make up for what a normal diet lacks and increase health overall, most of those major brands don't cut it.
