Creative Therapy Solutions (CTS) offers speech and language services to children and adults. This practice was established by Ellen Foster Mattingly, M.S., CCC-SLP, a Florida state licensed and ASHA certified speech-language pathologist with over 25 years of experience. Services include evaluations, diagnostics and treatment of speech,language and swallowing disorders as well as screening and treatment of auditory processing disorders. We have a special place in our hearts for children on the autism spectrum! If you think that you or a family member may be experiencing a communication or swallowing disorder, you are strongly encouraged to seek a professional consultation with a Speech-Language Pathologist certified by the American Speech & Hearing Association (ASHA). To increase our accessibility, we offer a complimentary phone or face-to-face consultation. At that time, we determine which services best address your needs and provide an opportunity for you to fully discuss and consider your concerns and options. Participants Needed for Research Study with Parents of a child recently diagnosed with Autism


If you are a parent, guardian, or primary caretaker of a child diagnosed with autism within the last 12 months please consider participating in this study.

My name is Ellen Mattingly, M.S., CCC-SLP, and I am a SLP-D doctoral candidate at Nova Southeastern University as well as a practicing Speech Language Pathologist who is the owner of an outpatient therapy practice in West Palm Beach, Florida. I am requesting you take part in an online survey, Exploring Practices of Diagnosing Autism – Revised. The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete.

This research will provide more current information about the average age of children at the time of their formal Autism diagnosis and factors that may delay the Autism diagnostic process.

The purpose of this research is to gather information that could assist with the early diagnosis of Autism which leads to early intervention promoting better outcomes.
