Olivia and Daniel McCarthy opened Olivia's Special Teas in Northwood Village as a kombucha tasting room, organic loose leaf tea, and medicinal herb shop where people could explore the wonderful world of tea and address health issues naturally with medicinal herbs. Their company, Tealixir Herbal Kombucha, craft brews kombucha based on traditions of herbal medicine. Olivia makes delicious teas out of even strong bitter teas such as kava kava and kratom. Offering a wide variety of unique, special, and gourmet items, tea is only the beginning at Olivia's.
