On April 10, 2025 we celebrated the 10 year opening of Came To Believe. We had a wonderful celebration at a beautiful function hall in May. Mnay of the great guys who have attended our program over the years attended, as did our current guys and many others who support our operation. A special shout out to my Sister Sandy, who loves the guys and contributed to the event in many ways. A shout out to so many of our guys who took care of the setup, breakdown and cleanup.

ANOTHER WONDERFUL DAY AT CAME TO BELIEVE ON THANKSGIVING 2024. THANKS TO THE GUYS FOR PREPPING FOR ALL OF OUR GUESTS. A HUGE THANK YOU TO BOB AND JOLYNN HANSEN FROM CHRIST FELLOWSHIP, FOR MAKING THE MAIN COURSE AND ALL THE SIDES FOR THE GUYS AND OUR 50 GUETS. A HUGE THANK YOU TO MY SISTER SANDY FOR DOING ALL THE DESSERTS.

ON APRIL 10, 2024, WE CELEBRATED THE 9 YEAR OPENING OF CAME TO BELIEVE. OVER THE LAST YEAR, 24 OF THE 26 MEN WHO WERE AT CAME TO BELIEVE MAINTAINED SOBRIETY. OUR GUYS CONTINUE TO HAVE AN EXTRAORDINARY SUCCESS RATE. OUR VAST ALUMNI ALSO CONTINUE TO MAINTAIN SOBRIETY AT A REMARKABLE RATE. OBVIOUSLY THESE OUTCOMES DON'T MATERIALIZE OUT OF THIN AIR. THE EFFORT, DEDICATION AND WILLINGNESS OF OUR GUYS, IS THE BIGGEST FACTOR IN THEIR SUCCESS. WE ARE DEADLY SERIOUS ABOUT ADDICTION AND RECOVERY, AND DEMAND THAT OUR GUYS WORK A GOOD PROGRAM. I BELIEVE A HUGE FACTOR IS THAT EVERYTHING WE DO THERE IS DONE IN AN INTENTIONAL FAMILY ATMOSPHERE. SO MANY CONTRIBUTE TO THE WELL BEING AND ESTEEM BUILDING OF OUR GUYS. THANKFULLY WE HAVE A HUGE NUMBER OF SOBER ALUMNI, WHO HELP INTEGRATE OUR NEW GUYS INTO OUR HUGE FAMILY LIKE FELLOWSHIP. MANY NON ALUMNI ALSO MAKE HUGE CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE BETTERMENT OF OUR GUYS. SOME OF THOSE INCLUDE MY FANTASTIC SPONSEES, MY FANTASTIC SPONSOR, AND AN INCREDIBLE CREW OF AMAZING PEOPLE FROM CHRIST FELLOWSHIP IN PALM BEACH GARDEN. THEY ALL CONTRIBUTE TO MAKE THE GUYS FEEL WANTED AND LOVED. SOME OF THOSE PEOPLE FROM CHURCH INCLUDE MY SISTER SANDY, WHO ALWAYS COOKS FOR OUR LARGE EVENTS. PAM AND BOBBY TUCKER, MARILYN AND JIM WILLIAMS, BOB AND JOLYNN HANSEN, JUST TO NAME A FEW. THE SIGNIFICANT POSITIVE IMPACT THEY HAVE ON THE GUYS IS IMMEASURABLE. AS MY SISTER SANDY AND I HAVE LOST OUR BROTHER JEFF AND OUR FATHER TO THIS DISEASE, WE FULLY KNOW THE OUTCOME IF THE GUYS DON'T GET THE HELP THEY NEED AND DESERVE. SOMEHOW, WE ALWAYS GET GREAT GUYS AT CAME TO BELIEVE. IM ALWAYS BEYOND PROUD OF THE GUYS, THEY BECOME FAMILY TO US. THERE ARE NO WORDS TO PROPERLY EXPRESS MY GRATITUDE FOR ALL OF OUR SUPPORTERS SELFLESS CONTRIBUTIONS. EVEN THOUGH WE ALL DO OUR BEST, THE OUTCOMES CONTINUE TO BE UNWORLDLY. Came to Believe opened April 17, 2015, by Bill Niemi. Bill is a man in recovery, his sobriety date is April 4, 1997. For many years Bill has been honored and privileged to work with thousands of alcoholics and addicts. A while after his mom's passing, Bill had a desire to open recovery residences for men. For many years, Bill had worked in treatment,. As a result of opening Came to Believe, Bill was able to establish long term relationships with his residents which is something he had always wanted. Came To Believe's policies, procedures, and guidelines, were created to give residents the best opportunity to maintain sobriety, and gain a meaningful and purposeful recovery. The men are required to obtain a sponsor, who is well versed in the 12 steps, and who has quality recovery. Attendance at a minimum of 5 twelve Step meetings weekly is mandatory. All of the men must attend an in house Big Book meeting held at our West Palm Beach house every Thursday at 7:30 p.m. This meeting is followed by the weekly house meeting. Came to Believe has a zero tolerance policy for a failed U.A. or B.A. Came to Believe encourages, and incorporates all components that may assist the residents. This can include individual therapy, Intensive Outpatient Programming, Family participation, Services to assist with medical, financial, legal and other situations.

Since inception, the success rate of the men attending Came to Believe has been extraordinary. Bill is incredibly proud of his residents, and truly loves them. Many former residents, who have successfully completed programming, are now active alumni. The support from the residents, an alumni towards one another, is a vital component to the success of the operation. Bill is extremely grateful to all of his men.

The current pricing structure is as follows; $275.00 at intake, $200.00 of which covers the first weeks rent. Rent is then set at $200.00 per week.
