Hey peeps these are the final sound baths I have scheduled for the rest of this year. After the last couple weekends of empty or near empty sound baths at some of the more distant locations, I've decided to only play local for the rest of the winter. Local meaning just bethel area, as that is the only area I'm currently scheduled to play except for one event in Bridgton postponed from November.
It really hit me after Friday nights sound bath how much my body and car are taking a beating doing this on such a regular schedule during this dark cold season. My car's guzzeling gas and needing maintenence from all the miles I'm putting on it. But with empty or nearly empty events almost every weekend, I'm not making enough to cover any of that, especially when I still have to pay for some of the event locations even when no one comes. 😔 im not posting for sympathy, I'm posting to explain why I'm cutting back on what I'll be doing from this point on. Sadly I'm pouring from an empty cup at this point, and can't properly serve my community the way I want to. My body is in pain and tired and telling me to rest. But I keep forcing myself to keep going. I need to listen and respect what it is telling me. I need to backpeddle a little and restructure, yet again. Because the plan I thought would last through the winter, is already failing not even 2 months in. I hoped i could push through, but realized it wasn't the right thing to do. So I'll be taking January and February off of any sound baths except for the bethel area. I will still be offering energy sessions and private sound baths for people who want to hire me in my enlightenment nest, aka she shed. If you want to come see me still, you can find me at either of the two sound baths below, and keep an eye on the events page for more events in the bethel area. I'm planning to continue working with chillosophy through the winter, and creating different types of events with them. I'm also planning to meet with another place for possibly a 420 themed sound bath at a dispensary. And I've found a wonderful retreat space in bethel I'll be utilizing this spring. So don't fret I'm not going away completely. I'm just taking a break, and restructuring what I do and when so I am happy and fulfilled. Thank you for your patience while I learn my bodies new limits this winter and recharge. 🙏 may you all have an amazing holiday and i hope to see a bunch of you at my next two sound baths.
