All this week, Nov 20-25, we are doing an art supply drive for Kiara’s Kolors . Kiara was a sweet girl who sadly passed away in 2020 after a long battle with cancer. Kiara thoroughly loved art. She especially loved her art therapy at STL Childrens Hospital. She loved Ms. Daphne her art therapist intently. She always looked forward to Art Therapy and it took her mind to a comforting place and helped her recieve a short time of peace.
Kiara's parents started Kiara's Kolors after herbpassing and each year, they do an art drive to help collect art supplies to take to STL. Over the last few years, they have had an extraordinary turn out from friends and community and they are so thankful! They have had their car packed to the max when they delivered the supplies over the past few years.
Again, this year they will be accepting all types of art supplies as long as they are new and in original packaging. Also, they will be receiving all types of gift cards as well that we will take to Friends of Kids with Cancer. All the donated Art Items will be taken to STL Childrens Hospital and donated to the Childlife Art department to help bless kids going through cancer.
Last year, they had several that wanted to donate money which made it where her parents could go buy Items we didnt recieve by donation. So monetary donations would be great too!
Along with your donation, as a thank you, you will receive a 20% off coupon to use in the store. The art drive will last until closing Saturday so that we can get the donations to Kiara's parents over the weekend.
