With heavy hearts, we remember Karen A. Hoppe (née Steger), whose warmth, strength, and love touched so many lives. Karen was a devoted wife to her beloved late husband, Robert Hoppe, sharing 57 beautiful years together, and a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Her legacy lives on through her children Michelle (Bobby) Iwankow, David (Debbie) Hoppe, William Hoppe, and Heather Repec, and her treasured grandchildren Ashley (Ethan) Poirier, Jacquelyn Hall, and Robert Iwankow. She will also be deeply missed by her brothers George “Skip” Steger and Paul (Kim) Steger, along with many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Karen’s kindness, grace, and unwavering love for her family will never be forgotten. Sending heartfelt condolences, love, and prayers to all who knew and loved her during this difficult time.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Buffalo.

Some lives shine so brightly, their light never fades. 💛

Luke Bautista was just 15 years old, but in his short time here, he brought joy, kindness, and warmth to everyone he met. Even after his passing, Luke continues to be a “bringer of light”—saving lives, restoring hope, and touching more than 100 people through the incredible gift of organ and tissue donation.

In the face of unimaginable loss, his family made a selfless decision that turned heartbreak into healing for so many others. Luke’s story is a powerful reminder of how one life can create a lasting impact far beyond what we can see.

May we honor his legacy by spreading kindness, compassion, and considering the gift of life.
