Due to the snowy conditions today, our office will be closed to ensure the safety of our staff and the families we serve. We will reopen as usual tomorrow.

If you need urgent assistance, our on-call team is available — please call our regular office number and follow the prompt for after-hours support. We are here to help you. 💛

To help keep our community safe and warm during the cold weather, here are some local warming center and shelter resources you can contact or visit if needed:

🧤 Community Warming & Shelter Resources

Springfield Area
• Friends of the Homeless - Springfield, MA — Shelter & support services (call ahead for availability).
• Springfield Rescue Mission — Day shelter and assistance.
• First Pioneer Valley Dream Center — Community support services.
• Jefferson Avenue Shelter — Emergency shelter option.

Holyoke Area
• CHD Warming Center – 696 Dwight Street, Holyoke, MA 01040. Daytime warming center operated by local partners.
• Holyoke Shelter – 51 Hamilton Street (overnight shelter space).

General Reminder: If you aren’t able to find a local warming center nearby, *Massachusetts residents can dial 2-1-1 for information on emergency warming shelters and other cold-weather resources throughout Western MA.
