✨❄️ Winter magic is in full swing at Monastery Heights Senior Living & Memory Care! ❄️✨

Our residents have been soaking up the holiday cheer with a week full of joyful activities, from a dazzling outing to Bright Nights for a sparkling holiday lights drive-through, to a lively Happy Hour with live music, to creating handmade keepsake ornaments that brought out everyone’s creativity.

And to top it all off, we welcomed the beautiful voices of the Pioneer Valley Church of Christ Choir, whose holiday classics filled our facility with warmth, harmony, and nostalgia. 🎶💙

Here’s to a season of light, laughter, and shared moments that make this time of year so special!

🦃🎯 Yesterday our residents took aim in our annual Monastery Heights Turkey Shoot Showdown, brilliantly coordinated by our unstoppable Activity Director Dena and our always-ready-for-anything Activity Coordinator Lori!

And let us just say… the focus in that room was unbelievable. We’re talking laser-focused, “don’t blink or you’ll miss the target,” “that turkey doesn’t stand a chance” levels of concentration. 😂

Seriously, just look at those pictures. The intensity. The determination. The “it’s personal now” expressions. Pure gold.

If turkeys could talk, they’d be very nervous after witnessing the competitive energy in the room. We had trick shots, victory dances, questionable “gobble” impressions, and at least one resident who may have declared, “I’ve been training all year for this moment.”

No turkeys were harmed…but several were dramatically knocked off their perch and are currently filing emotional support paperwork. 🦃📄

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Monastery Heights Senior Living & Memory Care, where even the turkeys know they’re in trouble. 😂🍂🧡

A big thank you to our local law enforcement and surrounding area police departments, Holyoke, Springfield, West Springfield, Chicopee, and Westfield, for all you do to keep our communities safe. 👮 Your dedication and service make a huge difference every day.

This past weekend, Jesus Marin, Marketing Director of Monastery Heights Senior Living & Memory Care, visited several departments for a meet and greet and to raise awareness for a shared cause. We are so grateful to all the officers for being welcoming and supportive! Your help spreading the word about our Toys for Tots Holiday Drive means so much, and we hope to see you and your families enjoying the event. 🎁🎄✨

🍦😄 Our residents made their way back to one of their favorite ice cream and burger spots today, proving once again that dessert apparently has its own spot on the weekly calendar. The staff at the shop didn’t even blink, they just smiled like, “Yep, it’s that time again,” and got the scoops ready.

A few residents took their time studying the menu, searching for whatever new seasonal flavors had arrived. Let’s just say anything labeled “limited edition” didn’t stand a chance.

There were plenty of laughs, plenty of napkins, and enough ice cream to make everyone agree that this “tradition” isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
